With years of experience as an accomplished negotiator and litigator, Partner Declan Gourley has vast expertise in workers’ compensation cases. Declan has represented employers, self-insured companies, third party administrators, and insurance carriers in New York workers’ compensation matters for over a decade.
Declan is the Practice Director of Insured Risk at Lois Law Firm LLC. In October 2022, Declan earned the designation “Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP)” at the Litigation Management Institute.
Prior to joining LOIS, Declan worked for an insurance defense firm where he focused on workers’ compensation matters. Declan also previously worked at a disability law firm representing claimants applying for Social Security Disability Benefits and various disability retirement pension programs for New Jersey state employees. Declan is the author of a book on Social Security Disability benefits.
