THE LoisLOVE INITIATIVE

The LoisLOVE Initiative is a community giveback program designed to help those in need while combining our vision of support for clients. At LOIS, we believe that encouraging disabled employees to return to the dignity and purpose of work is just one of the ways that fortify recovery from traumatic injury. We proudly focus on bringing awareness to different non-profit organizations that align with this vision of convalescence.

Every year, The LoisLOVE Initiative runs at least two events devoted to raising non-profit organizations’ awareness. We have worked with groups such as the Challenged Athletes Foundation, whose mission is to provide opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles, along with The Seeing Eye®, which focuses on raising and training dogs for the visually impaired. These philanthropic groups are devoted to helping create new levels of independence for those in need, and we are proud to align with their positive efforts.

With a mindset driven through raising awareness and collaborative partnership, we have run events like The Lois 5K, clothing drives within the community, charity bowling challenges, The Lois Dog Show, and LoisLAUGHS: Comedy for a Cause to help our local non-profit friends. We are always looking for different ways to inspire the message of purpose by providing the same partnership and alliance to our non-profit friends as we do with our clients. The LoisLOVE Initiative represents our unity with employers and our strength in helping to find solutions so that everyone can feel determined to maximize their potential.

Healthy Humor

Healthy Humor

Healthy Humor is an arts organization whose professional performers create moments of joy, wonder, laughter and comfort for hospitalized children and all others who are most in need. They hope for a world transformed by humor, joy and the power of human connection – a world less burdened by pain and fear.

Their flagship program, Red Nose Docs, uses the magic of healthcare clowning to help alleviate the stress, fear, sadness and isolation of the hospital environment for young patients and their circle of caregivers.

Red Nose Docs are professional artists from a variety of genres (actors, musicians, magicians, etc.) who are specially-trained to work in the hospital environment. Using an array of circus and theater skills, our performers work in teams of two to create spontaneous, joyful encounters, reintroducing play and fun as natural parts of life.
