Matthew T. Schrieks is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Insured Risk Practice Group. Matthew concentrates his practice on representing employers, self-insured companies, third party administrators, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters. As a trial attorney, Matthew is experienced with pre-trial disclosure procedures, trial presentation, and post-trial (appellate) practice.
Prior to joining LOIS, Matthew worked as an ERISA attorney representing claimants in complex ERISA welfare benefits claims, as well as private disability claims. He has also represented claimants, including teachers, police and other state workers applying for various other disability programs in New York and New Jersey. Matthew enjoys playing hockey, attending concerts and sporting events, playing poker, hiking, and his down time.
