LOIS is Committed to Your Mastery

At Lois Law Firm, we believe that continuous learning and professional development are the cornerstones of a successful legal career. Our commitment is reflected in our comprehensive in-house Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, which are designed to keep our attorneys at the forefront of workers’ compensation law. By providing CLE-accredited courses, workshops, and seminars on specialized topics, we offer a unique and attractive opportunity for attorneys who are eager to excel in their field.

And unlike any other law firm, LOIS treats attendance at CLE as a billable event, meaning you don’t have to choose between meeting your annual or quarterly goals and furthering your mastery!

Specialized CLE-Accredited Courses

One of the key features that sets Lois Law Firm apart is our focus on specialized CLE-accredited courses tailored specifically to workers’ compensation law. These courses are meticulously designed to cover the latest legal developments, industry trends, and best practices in this specialized area. By participating in these courses, our attorneys gain in-depth knowledge and expertise that enhances their ability to serve clients effectively and achieve successful outcomes.

Our CLE-accredited courses are led by experienced practitioners and industry experts who bring a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to the table. This ensures that our attorneys receive high-quality education that is both relevant and impactful. Whether you are a new attorney looking to build a strong foundation or an experienced practitioner seeking to deepen your expertise, our specialized CLE courses provide the tools and knowledge you need to thrive.

Monthly Workshops and Seminars

In addition to our specialized courses, Lois Law Firm offers CLE-accredited workshops and seminars every month. These interactive sessions provide a platform for attorneys to engage in hands-on learning, discuss complex legal issues, and explore innovative strategies. Our workshops and seminars cover a wide range of topics within workers’ compensation law, ensuring that our attorneys stay updated on the latest legal developments and industry best practices.

The monthly workshops and seminars also foster a collaborative learning environment where attorneys can share their experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. This collaborative approach not only enhances the learning experience but also strengthens the sense of community and teamwork within our firm.

New York Workers’ Compensation Defense at Lois Law Firm

We represent insurance carriers, self-insured employers, third party claim administrators, and employers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board. We handle cases from cradle-to-grave. We want to be by your side, moving cases aggressively to closure from the start of litigation all the way through to settlement.

We only assign one attorney and one paralegal to each case. This means that your team members always have one contact to go to for any questions. We do not have 'hearing attorney' or a 'negotiation attorney' or 'appeal department' or anything else! All of our attorneys handle all of those roles – meaning cases are not 'passed around' as they move through the litigation process. Your risk professional or adjuster always knows who is assigned – because the attorney does not change.
