Elevate Your Legal Career with Lois Law Firm’s Exclusive Case Roundtables

At Lois Law Firm, we’ve developed an innovative approach to attorney development through our unique Case Roundtable sessions (we call them “CAPS Sessions” here). These aren’t your typical meetings; they are a dynamic forum for legal professionals to engage, learn, and grow together. Our commitment to fostering a collaborative learning environment is at the heart of these roundtables, providing an invaluable opportunity for attorneys to advance their careers in a way that’s both practical and profound. And we are so committed that we also provide billable-hour credit to attorneys for participating!

Picture a room filled with legal minds, each bringing their own experience and perspective to the table. Under the guidance of seasoned practitioners, these sessions delve into the intricacies of complex, real-world cases. Attorneys at Lois Law Firm have the chance to dissect these cases, debate strategies, and develop solutions in a setting that encourages open dialogue and critical thinking. This peer-to-peer learning environment not only enhances your legal acumen but also your ability to think on your feet, adapt strategies, and anticipate judicial or opposition moves.

The benefits of our Case Roundtables extend beyond immediate case preparation. They are a crucible for sharpening your analytical skills, broadening your legal knowledge across different practice areas, and honing your advocacy techniques. Engaging in these discussions can fundamentally transform how you approach legal challenges, offering you a panoramic view of the law through the collective wisdom of your peers. It’s not just about learning from others; it’s about contributing your insights, which in turn, solidifies your understanding and confidence in your legal strategies.

In essence, joining Lois Law Firm means you’re stepping into a culture where your professional growth is prioritized. Our Case Roundtables are more than just educational; they are career-defining experiences where you can evolve from a skilled attorney into a master of your craft. If the idea of advancing your legal career through shared knowledge and collective experience excites you, then Lois Law Firm offers an environment where you can thrive.

Here, your journey towards becoming a more insightful, strategic, and connected legal professional begins.

New York Workers’ Compensation Defense at Lois Law Firm

We represent insurance carriers, self-insured employers, third party claim administrators, and employers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board. We handle cases from cradle-to-grave. We want to be by your side, moving cases aggressively to closure from the start of litigation all the way through to settlement.

We only assign one attorney and one paralegal to each case. This means that your team members always have one contact to go to for any questions. We do not have 'hearing attorney' or a 'negotiation attorney' or 'appeal department' or anything else! All of our attorneys handle all of those roles – meaning cases are not 'passed around' as they move through the litigation process. Your risk professional or adjuster always knows who is assigned – because the attorney does not change.
