Addison O’Donnell is an attorney licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Addison chiefly concentrates his practice on appellate advocacy for New York Workers’ Compensation defense matters before the Administrative Review Division of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, the State of New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division (including the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Judicial Departments), and the New York State Court of Appeals. Addison also occasionally engages in appellate advocacy for New Jersey Workers’ Compensation defense.
Addison’s experience prior to Lois Law Firm, included NJ Transit, the Federal Communications Commission’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau in Washington, D.C., and the United States Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. Before embarking on a career in law, Addison worked as a theatre producer and writer in New York.
In January 2025, Addison was appointed as Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School in New York City, where he teaches Advanced Appellate Advocacy to upper-level law students.
